Booking a maternity session is a wonderful way to celebrate your journey into motherhood and capture the beauty of your baby bump, ideally between 28 to 36 weeks of pregnancy. These sessions create lasting memories to cherish and share with your child. To enhance your experience, I offer a selection of beautiful dresses from my client closet if booking the FULL SESSION , providing a variety of styles without the need for a purchase. Let’s create stunning memories together!⁣

Get excited—summer is around the corner only a few months away, time flies trust me!!! With our busiest months from June to October in the Salmon Arm area, now is the perfect time to secure your spot. I often have to turn away eager clients who wait too long, and I hate to miss capturing your special moments!

The Shuswap is busy during the summer months with a high volume of tourists visiting. Most Families take advantage of this time to book family reunion photo sessions and portrait family sessions, this makes our availability is very limited July to Aug as spots fill up fast so BOOK EARLY !

Meet Joanne Stacey!

Meeting Joanne Stacey was a revelation!
Prior to our encounter, I had formed a preconceived notion of her, but she completely shattered it with her warmth, humor, and incredible talent. Not only is she remarkably friendly and outgoing, but her musical abilities are truly exceptional.
After our session, I was treated to a mesmerizing live performance of some of her songs, and I was left in awe of her singing prowess.

Capturing the innocence and beauty of your newborn requires skill, patience, and artistry. I have completed numerous specialized courses on safely posing babies to ensure a comfortable and risk-free experience. As a proud recipient of multiple awards for Best Newborn Photographer in Alberta and B.C., I am dedicated to providing exceptional quality and artistry in every session.

My fully equipped studio features a wide selection of high-quality props sourced from around the world, creating a variety of beautiful and timeless setups. All outfits are provided for both parents and babies, with some sizes available for siblings if needed.

Timing is crucial for a successful newborn session. Posed newborn photography must be scheduled within the first 14 days of your baby's life, as older babies are more challenging to pose, and conditions like colic and baby acne can develop after two weeks. To ensure availability, I recommend booking your session before your due date. I typically reserve a window around your due date, and once your baby arrives, we will select a convenient time when your newborn is about 7 to 10 days old.
